Mercedes A-Class W 169 Chiptuning - in October 2004 the new A-Class W 169 replaced its predecessor. For this model, a 3-door variant was also available for the first time. 3 different equipment variants of the W 169 were offered. For example, an automatic transmission, bi-xenon headlights or a parking aid could be ordered as options. Seven different 4-cylinder engines were offered in this series. The diesel engines are common rail injectors and turbochargers. The 169 was discontinued in April 2012.
